Special edition artist’s book bringing together the whole of Chris Ofili’s Ovidian series.
We worked closely with Chris Ofili and Victoria Miro gallery to design a book containing a compilation of Ofili’s sketches and paintings in a large hardback cloth-bound book with a foil blocked cover. We used Ofili’s handwriting for all the chapter titles to give the book a sketchbook and personal feel.
The book was published on the occasion of the exhibition ‘Chris Ofili to take and to give’ at Victoria Miro Gallery, 2012. 276 pages, hardcover, cloth-bound with foil blocked cover.
Night & Day Gallery Wall
We were asked by Chris Ofili to develop background visuals for the gallery walls for his upcoming exhibition, Night & Day at the New Museum in New York. The visuals were based on a blue room featured in a 1947 film. We then developed, retouched and recoloured new visuals for each wall that were sent to the scenic painters in New York to create.
