Tesco Finest Wines Typographic Wine Labels
Crafting typographic wine labels celebrating the heritage of the winemaker’s story for a collection of Old World wines.
We designed a collection of wine labels for Tesco Finest Wines. I worked as part of Harry Pearce’s team on the wine labels for the Old World. We extensively researched the history of each wine and its provenance to source unique and interesting elements. We looked at the typographic styles of historical labels, the vernacular of each region, the coat of arms of the wine families and architectural details – of which we could take details to incorporate in the design of each wine label to create a feel of authenticity and visual richness.
